Hi,
i just want to know if is possible to upgrade de free space of a Raid5 when putting in a bigger Harddisk - let it rebuild - exchange the second one- let it rebuild and so on?
For me I have a F4-210 with 4 x 2 TB Harddisks in Raid5.
If I take the first out and put an 6TB in, will I have finally (after alle the rebuilds and Harddisk Changes) a Raid5 with 6TB?
Or maybe it can be added it futures Updates if the function doesn't exist.
I think it could be very interesting for some people.
Best Regards,
André

Re: Upgrade the Raid5 Harddisks one by one
If only 1X2TB drive is replaced with a 6TB drive, the capacity of RAID5 will not be changed. The capacity of RAID 5 is calculated with the minimum sized drive.
