Ability to erase a Volume

Post by TerraNAS92 »

Hi,

Just got the Terra-Master F4-422.

It runs on To4.2.40 as TO5 is totally buggy.

I would like to "reformat" the 2 hard drives that I have installed in the NAS.

So I go to the dashboard and select "Volumes" and there I select the RAID0 array I created and select "Delete".

It then says it is going to delete.

ANd after 10 seconds says it's done... but all data is still there.

So that does nothing.

What am I doing wrong ?

Which OS you used to create your volumes? 4.x? 5.0?
how many volumes you totally created? Is the volume you plan to delete is your system default volume? Did you create a hyperlock volume?
