Hi,
i wish a "switch" to kill all internet activities (such as time/update/remote/all request from or to terrmaster) for just using my NAS locally and reachable via: SSH, (S)FTP, HTTP(S) active) - located e.g on sidebar : o)

"Switch" for just using/reachable NAS locally
Re: "Switch" for just using/reachable NAS locally
You can go to Control Panel> Security> Firewall to create a firewall rule that only allows local network access.

a commercial grade router for your network would do this for you and block outbound traffic from a source IP (nas drive IP) so no harm in looking at your options for belts and braces if you feel that you need to do this

@sianderson
Did you mean, i should block (domain by domain):
dl.terra-master.com
app.terra-master.com
time.terra-master.com
app.tnas.online
status.rapidssl.com
myexternalip.com
ifconfig.co
ifconfig.me
baidu.com
icanhazip.com

I guess it looks good [Attachment] : o)

A "switch"/button sounds easier

stun.miwifi.com
stun.voipstunt.com
stun.mit.de
stun.qq.com

Actually, all you have to do is enable a TOS firewall rule that "Allows All" protocols inbound and outbound on whatever your local IP range is ie : 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.100myrix wrote: ↑01 May 2022, 20:52 I'm l desktopittle confused, why do gos requests (on startup) to:

This effectively shut off all Internet traffic on my TOS systems. You'll know it's working when the TOS desktop shows Disconnected next to Internet. When TOS boots however, there's a few minutes where the Internet is Connected because it takes a while before TOS executes the firewall. I don't use the TOS firewall anymore however because I have a firewall at the network level now.
