I'd love to see a Benchmarking utility (likely in the Settings panel) for benchmarking the storage pool both internally and externally.
So, for internal benchmark you'd be able to test the read/write/latency of each disk, pool, etc, which may help you determine the health of a pool within the array.
For external benchmark, you'd have to have some sort of loopback over the network, and this would show you the read/write/latency of the NAS unit while installed in its current network environment. This may help users determine if there is a network issue causing the appliance to be slow.
