if they are not in a raid array, you should just simply be able to plug them into a linux based computer (or a Linux VM on windows) and access the data so unless you have actually clicked yes to formatting the data, you should not have lost anything i guess lesson to learn is dont just pull all hard...

i'm sure theres plenty of ways to do things, but i guess my question would be is it just a one off process? and how much data is involved? you could use a PC as a go between and just transfer it across between two network shares, you could back it up to usb on one, plug in to the other one and copy ...

I did use the original cable that came with the NAS, and I'm seeing the connection drop every 15 seconds. is there a way to set the connection to instead of auto-detect to 1000 full? (i tried with ifconfig media) and no matter the syntax I tried I kept on getting the error message: ifconfig: bad ad...

that sort of process name is usually malware running on your nas drive so i believe you are infected with something if you know what you are doing you can SSH to the nas drive and then prevent it from running, but more than likely you will either need to wipe your drives and start it all again or al...

there is no 4.2.09 for the F2-210 as we are an ARM based processor so the highest we can go to is 4.2.08 unless i have missed something?

nope mine seems to be fairly stable on ram usage now, i just have a problem with CPU locking up every so often

i dont understand the question, i am not unplugging the hard drive (it is permantely in the bay)

yet another reboot of the nas drive now all the correct lights are on it just seems to get confused from time to time on what lights need to be on or off on boot up
