Think I have found the problem, every time media devices like TVs streaming boxes try and access the media server on the TNAS, it turns it off, so what is the solution?

Re: The Brand New TOS 5.1.24 is released for update!

Yes it seems to lose all connections with any media device that uses UPNP, DLNA etc, and nothing visible via SMB or NFS but remains visible to Windows computers and any network device detection software, something definitely wrong with the latest update wish I hadn't bothered, getting so fed up I ha...

Already done that been through all settings, tried dropping the SSDP Broadcast interval which may have helped with one machine, but now the other has now disappeared to all the DLNA players like TVs etc.

Re: TV network discovery of TNAS problems?

Haven't had a chance to install SSH terminal, but updated in the meantime to 76 and still have the same problem, prior to update 71 I could see all folder that were sheared even if not listed in the media server!

Added this app to my mobile last night and so far it's working very well, a bit slow on thumbnail generation but otherwise well done.

Re: How to add RAM module to TerraMaster NAS

As I have said at the beginning of this thread I have un endorsed RAM in both my machines, and they work fine, but mine are over two years old, so maybe TM have now introduced something that throws a wobbly if it detects a non TM RAM, A bit like some HDDs are not well tolerated which I think is soft...
