Think I have sorted it, I do want TRAID but the pool that seemed to be already created would not allow me to create a new volume so had to start again and delete and recreate, all seems OK now.

I have just done a complete wipe of the HDDs and a fresh installation of 5.1.103 to get the 8 gig needed for further updates on one of my machines however it's now showing a storage pool of TRAID (which I didn't create) but I cannot create a volume any ideas? After a lot of faffing about I have managed to reinstall 5.1.67 and can now contact the TNAS but all the HDD indicator lights remain red, can someone tell me what's going on now?
