sure, uptates are fixing stuff, security stuff and so on... do the updates to the 4.2.xx namually and the rest too. Automatic manuals don't run either on my system.

I Have a F4-210 with 4x2 TB in Raid5 ant that as is backeup up to 2 3 TB USB Drives.

I think (but I am not sure), when you are inserting the other HDD's, TOS will ask you what type of Raid you want to use and will rebuild it. (But before doing anything, make a backup of your Data). If you may do that on an external Harddrive, I recommend you to create a complete new pool. With 4 HDD...
