TNAS PC 5.0.27 seems to work OK on my Windows 11 now but still pretty slow to open, and i still have to log into the TOS 5 machine on the TNAS PC page and not the web interface like the TOS 4 is this by design or does this need more work?

So posting a valid criticism is now a contravention of the rules and gets deleted....great way to o treat your long-suffering patrons don't you think, most of us here have been around for a while and put up with quite a lot of problems but when we feel we have to have a moan you just delete the comm...

OK just updated to the TOS 5.0.124 (x.86) and now the TOS 5 machine is visible on the network, however I think it may have introduced some other undesirable effects, then again they could be intensional. First, I note that the TOS 5 machine is now no longer found on the older TNAS PC when it was bef...

Best get used to it, we are all beta testers here! Had other NAS in the past, and they just work, never had to put in so much time messing about, tempted to sell mine on but don't want the agro of the buyer coming back to me complaining it won't work properly.

Both versions of TNAS PC cannot reach the TOS 5 TNAS.

Managed to access the TNAS via IP address on network but still can't get TNAS PC to find it, been through all the settings which are set the same as my other machine but just not visible at all, but can now ping, telnet, ftp, but reports wan disconnected??

OK I managed to get to finally install the bootloader and TOS5 by using the older TNAS PC, but now I cannot find the TNAS on my network, can ping it and can't ftp it, tried turning off and also reset the router but still no go, guess I can pull the discs yet again and try that but getting to the end...

If I turn off and restart the TNAS I get an IP address of 169.254.254 and the browser can't find it, so I have to reboot my router in order to get a sensible IP address back again and then if I try the whole thing again all I get is the blue circle for another hour with no progress, can't even get b...
