You could try the guide posted by support recently if you've not seen it.

Re: Curl, screen and Rclone
There is a wget version in TOS which may help you get packages over to the server.
I've used it to get source tar files over for compilation without any issues.

Re: Admin folders are gone!
Hi, something to check.
Go to control panel, Users, click on the more drop-down and pick advanced settings. Is the 'enable user home directory' option ticked? If not then tick it and apply.

F5-221 Reports incorrect memory information in DMI table
In reference to another thread: https://forum.terra-master.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=310&start=10 It appears that the F5-221 reports incorrect memory information in the DMI table using the dmidecode command, compared to the F2-221 which seems to show the right information. # dmidecode -t m...

Re: WIN TerraMaster NAS F4-210 & DAS D5-300C
My ideal solution is the NAS. With the NAS my family can store and share their files and media safely over the home network. All our devices are backed up onto it and important files cloud synced offsite. All this is made simple by TOS and the available suite of tools.

Re: F5-221 RAM upgrade Specifications
The F2-221 does seem to have a difference compared to the F5-221 as my "dmidecode -t memory" command shows the same as I posted above, just the 2GB onboard and no additional slots reported empty or full. Also reports 16GB max installable rather than 32GB the F2-221 seems to report. My limi...

Re: F5-221 RAM upgrade Specifications
Out of interest what does dmidecode -t 17 say on your unit? Mine only ever shows the 2GB onboard. I think dmidecode -t 16 can be unreliable from some of the research I've done. The system board and BIOS may well support 16GB but that doesn't mean that the installed processor can address it all. I'll...

Re: F5-221 RAM upgrade Specifications
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the processor in the F5-221 cannot address more than 8GB of total ram: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/95597/intel-celeron-processor-j3355-2m-cache-up-to-2-5-ghz.html It won't do any harm, as far as I'm aware, but just be aware that any sys...
