Re: Looking for something that will back up photos from Android.
Please wait for the release of TNAS Mobile. The answer is a bit generic. How long do I have to wait? Because backing up files or photos is not secondary as a problem, after all the NAS was created for that purpose. If I can't do it from the Android phone some of the work that the NAS is dedicated t...

Re: [ Syncthing ][ 1.20.3.0 ]Continuous Replication/Cluster Sync
Fortunately after the last update I see the "Sync" folder so everything is fine, I just need to save the material there. Thanks again!

Re: Looking for something that will back up photos from Android.
In my opinion, having to use an external app (with paid modules) when a special app could be foreseen (as other companies do ... QNap, Synology, ...), is a missed opportunity and a demonstration of little attention to requests . I tried Nexcloud, SyncThing, Rello ... but having to use external apps ...

Perplexity
I would have liked to have an app that would act as a cloud for all the photos I take (Synology has such a thing). The new app is very "heavy" for the system, requires, in my opinion, too many resources and does not allow an automatic saving from the phone to the NAS. Then the division of ...

Re: [ Syncthing ][ 1.20.3.0 ]Continuous Replication/Cluster Sync
Folder permissions are very strict in TOS5 The app is running as user syncthing with group syncthing. Is recommended to not run as superuser. By default, syncthing user have read/write access only to the default path /Volume1/Sync So for the newly added folders in Syncthing app you have to choose /...

Re: [ Syncthing ][ 1.20.3.0 ]Continuous Replication/Cluster Sync
A thousand thanks! I immediately tried it. But I ask one thing, what path should I put for the shared folder on the TNAS? SyncThing always says "permission denied"

Re: [ Syncthing ][ 1.20.1.0 ]Continuous Replication/Cluster Sync
In the meantime, thanks for all the work! Then, I would also like to evaluate this app in comparison with Resilio. I have read good opinions on both of them. I hope this too will arrive soon. Have you tried them? Which one do you suggest? Thanks again
