Re: Excessive CPU & Heat warping HDD Bracket

As the HDDs are in contact with the plastic carrier, I would say you have had a gross overheat of one or more of the HDDs rather than the CPU etc, the HDDs are quite a mass so once hot enough they will retain heat and affect the plastics, do the HDDs still function?

Re: 4.2.32 Strange problem!

I see your issue now. Your tnas failed to obtain a correct IP address from your DHCP server, this the reason why you see a strange IP address start with 169. As your tans not able to be assigned a correct IP address, so you are not able to change its IP too.You need check if your router configurati...

Re: 4.2.32 Strange problem!

Basically after the update and on trying to access the TNAS via the TNASPC application the TNAS would show up but with an IP address that is totally different from my network IE not 192 which is the router so something starting with 165 or 285 and on clicking connect it would go to the change IP add...

Re: TOS 4.2.39(X86) is released for update!

Further to my last post I have noticed that on the info pop up panel it's saying it's disconnected, yet it's running exactly the same settings as my other machine which says connected?

Re: TOS 4.2.39(X86) is released for update!

Well as expected after trying to update one of my F5-221s with this it's now saying that the password is wrong and can't log in, will have to pull the drives and try a reset as I did with the other machine, this all occurs since the 32 update and now with the last 39 as well I wonder if whoever wrot...

Re: TOS 4.2.39(X86) is released for update!

I am now getting very hesitant about updating TOS as recent updates are starting to cause problems, prior to 4.2.30 updates seemed stable and caused no problems I had real problems with 4.2.32 and gave up on TOS 5 testing because the original software seemed quite stable but with subsequent updates ...

Re: 4.2.32 Strange problem!

Certainly not a forgotten password, and I have seen other updates show up for installation in the updates before, are you sure that it's not possible for the update to auto upload? As when I finally got it all back, all the apps had to be reloaded. Or is this another instance of the same problem wit...

4.2.32 Strange problem!

Having not used my F5-221 for a little while, I want to ask was the update online? As I don't ever remember updating it manually, and the result was that I couldn't contact it on my network so after a restart I found that the password was wrong so ended up re-initializing to get contact and reset th...
