Re: Nextcloud - security and setup warnings plus updating
Correction... I meant "To date, TM is still offering an out-of-support Nextcloud app and not a word on what they have done and will do moving forward."
The oldest supported version is 19.0 according to https://github.com/nextcloud/server/wik ... e-Schedule

Re: Nextcloud - security and setup warnings plus updating
TM Support, I also want to add to what Jay just posted. In relation to the deafening silence on Nextcloud, please remember that TM customers need information to guide their decision-making. If there's no update coming, just let us know together with the reason why. You and everyone in this forum ar...

Re: List of issues and forum feature request
So I'd like to compile a list of bugs/issues/feature requests that are things a reasonable person - or annoying customer such as myself - would expect to be standard functionality. ATTENTION Terra-Master staff: In addition, can you introduce some kind of feature request voting system? It would be f...

Re: Remote access with DuckDNS
[at=anyk post_id=8678 time=1614251861 user_id=3180][/at] The password is your DuckDNS account (which is crazy as one would normally associate this with username). For your other question, the following went into the port forwarding section of my router interface: WAN port: 8181 LAN port:8181 Destina...

Re: Install Xpenology on TerraMaster NAS
[at=JasonB post_id=8160 time=1612431072 user_id=3079][/at] Thanks of sharing. I just want to use my TNAS and not be bothered with issues. I have set it up with TOS at 99% of what I bought it for. Many of the ongoing issues with TOS are basic things a business with genuine concern for its customers s...

Re: Develop your own app and run it on TOS
All apps you install from Docker, Entware, third party websites, or community apps are not verified by TerraMaster team. You need to decide if you need to trust these apps. I understand that. With Docker and Entware, it's very clear to the user that they are getting the app from a third party. The ...

Re: Develop your own app and run it on TOS
[at=TMroy post_id=2069 time=1591004292 user_id=1656][/at] It's been great seeing all the apps being offered by outkasm to the TM Users community. I salute the person's generosity. Wouldn't TerraMaster get involved in vetting that those apps have no security/ privacy issues? This is the very least Te...
