Re: System fails to be useful

i have a F2-210 running 4.2.41 and can copy a file that is many gigs in size to and from the nas drive so it is NOT a design issue as mine is working perfectly, if it was a design flaw then mine wouldnt be working

Re: Using VPN on TNAS

im guessing you would need extra hardware to sit in the middle that would route all network traffic through a VPN supplier, a NAS drive was not designed for this, but you can get routers that connect to other VPN's so if you backed one of those off the nas drive then it should give you want you want

Re: Problems Post Upgrade

1. Hardware Fault - how is this possible when the hardware was fine with TOS 4 i'm afraid you will find this that TM are very very quick to blame hardware, especially hard drives when clearly its software related when i first had my F2-210 they kept on telling me as my seagate baraccuda hard drive ...

Re: TOS 4.2.40 is released for update

updated, no issues to report, all apps are still visible and working upon reboot only frustration is the DLNA media server needs to rescan the folders and re-create its media list everytime the unit is booted up, in my eyes this is unessessary processing power as it should retain its media list upon...
