Re: TOS 4.2.02 beta is released for testing

I've found a problem with file manager in the latest TOS 4.2.02 beta. The logged in users home directory doesn't show anymore. For example, logged in as admin I can't see the admin folder in the list on the left. Screenshot from 2020-07-24 10-47-48.png I can get to the logged in user folder by click...

ClamAV Version older than stated in applications

I've just noticed that the version of ClamAV installed from applications is V0.102.0 but it says it should be V0.102.3?

Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't help, the package is listed as V0.102.3 but it's always V0.102.0 that gets installed.

Code: Select all

[root@TNAS-xxxxx ~]# clamscan -V
ClamAV 0.102.0

Re: How to update Clam AV

Wow, I've literally just been looking in to this issue myself, talk about coincidence. What I've found is that the latest versions of ClamAV use https to download the definition updates but the TOS operating system doesn't appear to be setup to allow this correctly, /etc/ssl/certs folder is empty fo...

Re: Transfer files from f2 to f4

It may be possible with some manual configuration but I'm not sure what the advantage would be? How would you access them if their LAN ports are connected to each other? Having both connected to the switch would be how I'd do it.

Re: Seagate IronWolf 6TB NAS HD Freezing in F2-421

I have 2 F5-420 NAS with (5) 12 TB Seagate Iron Wolf Drives in Each, both have been upgraded to 8GB RAM, and they were both stable until this recent TOS. 1 had been running continuously since February, the other since last October. Since the TOS upgrade however, (forced by a recent upgrade in Plex)...

I've got 4 x 4TB Ironwolf drives in my F5-221 and have never seen this happen, what TOS version are you running on?

Re: HOW TO INSTALL FREENAS

You need to start pressing the del key sooner in the process, if you're getting to the linux login then it's too late. Start tapping the del key as soon as the display comes up on the monitor, just keep tapping it regardless and you should end up at the blue and grey bios screen. FYI the username ro...

Re: Crashes since TOS 4.1.27

Thank you for the feedback and glad to know it's working properly now. TMSupport can you make sure this is added to the bug list for fixing, my F5-221 always resets to China Standard Time when I do an upgrade which is at best annoying but at worst it causes issues like the original poster has had. ...

Re: VGA to HDMI pinouts?

I can't directly answer your question, but this might help. The Celeron J3355 in our units has integrated Intel® HD Graphics 500 for the video output, this does support HDCP (Intel might even have been part of developing the standard, can't recall eactly). As to the version though, I couldn't find t...

Re: VGA to HDMI pinouts?

Can you tell me what the pin connections are for the F5-221 are as i have just bought a generic adapter in order to access the bios but cannot get a display so suspect that pins are not correct? No idea on the pinouts sorry, but are you using somthing like this: HDMI to VGA, TechRise Gold Plated Hi...
