Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
I tried the guide you linked, was able to SSH in with PUTTY and run all the commands, and disabled SMB and PLEX, but still was not able to create a Hyper Cache. I don't even think I need it because I'm getting around 290 MB/s file solid, consistent transfers, which should be the max my motherboards...

Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
Have you tried removing the M.2 drive(s) to see if you can access the web interface once the Hyper Cache drives are removed. I guess maybe you could make hyper cache from 2.5 SSD drives? If so try removing whatever drives you are using for Hyper cache to see if web access works afterwards.

Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
Call me suspicious but I can't help but wonder are TM starting to favor certain makes of drive and just like some of the RAM that can't be used in the TNAS will we start to find HDDs the same if not the "approved" make. 2nd thing I did when I got TOS 6 working was to try my 32GB of TeamGr...

Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
Welcome to the BETA. I as many have also gone through your pain. Now it's time to pull the drives and reinstall TOS 5. The good news is once you do that it seems you can install the TOS 6 BETA and it will work correctly, although I recommend waiting until the next TOS 6 BETA version that has been s...

Re: RAID ERROR in HyperCache
Now that I have the TOS 6 Beta installed and working, the only issue I am having is creating the HyperCache. I installed the NVME drives in my PC and did a Diskpart Clean to erase them before I installed them into the Terramaster NAS, but I don't think that is the issue as I have no problem detectin...

Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
If you reinstall TOS 5 per the instructions, be sure to remove ALL drives from you NAS, that means the M.2 drives if you have any installed. I even went so far as to install the M.2 in my PC and use Diskpart to CLEAN the drives before I reinstalled them. I believe in my case TOS was installed on AL...

Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
Okay no more error reports on this issue, but I don't need to submit any more since I took ALL the drives out of my NAS, including the M.2, and reinstalled TOS 5. Once TOS 5 was reinstalled, I tried the TOS 6 Beta update again, and it installed and is working without any issues so far. I hope everyo...

Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
Well, I guess when they say remove ALL hard drives they mean remove your M.2 SSD too. I shut down the NAS then removed all the Hard Drives from the front of the enclosure, but when I started it back up it is doing the same thing as with the Hard Drives installed. Guess my next step is to crack open ...

Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
Well that explains why they said to take out all of your HDDs to reinstall the OS. I think I have a 1TV M.2 drive in there for cache that isn't all being used, too bad they can install the OS on that.
