Ok I figured it out.

1. Go into my Shared folder.
2. Clicked edit.
3. Then in General I checked the Replace the permissions of all the subdirectories with the permissions of the folder. Then apply.

Plex is now updating properly.

All done! Whew that took a while. Another 10 hours of synchronization. I am thinking because of size. Time to set up Plex.

Ok it took over a day for the Triad to finish setting up with 2 drives. Then it finished almost 2 days later after adding the 3rd drive. Right after it finished it started the synchronizing all over again. Is this normal?

I just picked up 3 Seagate Exos X20's 18TB. Should I add all 3 when I setup the Traid or use 2 then add the 3rd after synchronization?

Just I case. I originally set up the Traid with 2 8tb drives. Then added the 14tb to extend the storage pool. With gave me a little over 14tb. Do you mean that the storage pool capacity of your four TRAID disks has not changed after adding a 20TB disk? Please generate and download the log report in TOS > Technical Support > Report Issues, and then unzip and get the disk.txt, send it as an attachment here. Keep getting a file extention err...

2 8tb 1 14tb 1 20tb in my system. Just added the 20tb to the Traid array. I am only seeing the capacity of the 20tb drive. I thought that Traid would let me increase the total capacity by adding a larger drive. Am I missing something? Should I not be seeing a larger total capacity for the 14 and 20 ...
