by creating another boot media using another USB drive,
I was able to get to the initialization screen,
during the factory reset, it broke the internal USB drive,
I created a new USB media to boot with, connected on the external USB port,
removed the old USB media from the internal USB.

do I just need a brand new USB drive or do I need to format the new drive in a specific way?

After the factory reset. - both NVME drives removed, harddrives in : NAS gets the IP, it's discoverable, however, the site can't be reached in the browsers -- PC NAS shows, the NAS is uninitializ...

Re: How to reinstall TOS for your TNAS?
I followed the guide.
I upgraded to TOS6 and factory reset, and it failed to boot,
removed all hdd NVME etc, booted the device, no network light, no IP.
what should I do?
also with the HDD in, I can't ssh into it as none of my user account nor password works.
this is extremely frustrating

As per your suggestion,
I reproduced the error, generated the log,
and send the logs to support(at)terra-master.com

Re: Very slow write over network and disconnect
As far as I know there isn't much AFS or SMB related options to be configured on the OSX side as a client

Re: Very slow write over network and disconnect
Please check the SMB or AFP settings on your MacOS and TOS. Just base on the limited information, we are not able to judge where could be the issue exactly. Hi, thank you for the response, Would you have a link or guidelines on how SMB or AFP should be configured? also, is there a guideline on info...

Re: Very slow write over network and disconnect
Tested the same files via FTP, it seems to work fine here,,
SMB or AFP filetransfer might be the issue here,
and these are non encrypted folders.
