Re: Connecting D4-300 DAS to F2-223 NAS
Thanks for the information. I discovered that disks in the USB enclosure can in fact be used to create storage pools, so have managed to go down this route.

Re: Connecting D4-300 DAS to F2-223 NAS
I ended up initializing the HD in Windows, and formatting the drive. Then created folders. I've mapped as a network drive in Windows and have uploaded files.
Am I correct in thinking that I can only use folders? Or is it possible to partition the USB hard drive?

Re: Install TOS only on nvme
Hi Can I jump in on this with a couple of questions? I have an F2-223 8GB RAM with 2 NVME drives 1TB Crucial CT1000P3\SSD8 configured as Hypercache (in RAID 0). I don't think I am really getting any benefit from Hypercache, so looking through various posts, I may benefit from installing TOS on 1 of ...

Upgrading from 1 2 bay NAS to a 4 bay and moving exisitng drives
Is it possible to upgrade from a 2 bay NAS ( F2--223) to a 4 bay and just transfer my existing drives to the new 4 bay without losing data. My drives are configured as JBOD and this will stay the same in the new NAS.
