Just updated my F5-221. No issues as it looks.
Still not very convenient that new versions do not appear when checking from Control Panel but have to be checked for and applied manually.

@usersky What size is your system partition? If it's 2 GB , that's the reason the device isn't going to acknowledge newer releases as it doesn't meet the 8 GB system partition requirement; this thread explains what is required to fix that: https://forum.terra-master.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=...

As promised above, for the help I got from the tech guys at terra-master, I bought another terra-master unit, a D5-300C. I will play connecting it to the F5-221 that I thoroughly enjoy using. Great products.

I am back to report it took 5 minutes on teamviewer for a great guy at TerraMaster to unlock both drives. THANKS GUYS!

After some research I found that secure erase is issued with a password. So the password that locks my drives is one known by terramaster since it was set at the start of the secure erase and would presumably be reset at the end (that never happened).
