Re: Latest version for a system at 4.1.30-2008051459
In case someone has the same question: 4.2.40 was the latest available / compatible version in that case. Online-Update worked fine.

Re: Latest version for a system at 4.1.30-2008051459
Thank you, but my current question wasn't about advancing to TOS 5.1 ;) While that's of interest in general, I'm still undecided. At the moment I wanted to know, which is the latest version I can get to from my 4.1.30-2008051459, before the requirement of the system partition having the size of 8 GB...

The forum software removed all the line breaks for some reason and I can't edit the post anymore.

Latest version for a system at 4.1.30-2008051459
Greetings, as suggested here [at=shad post_id=28985 time=1691598194 user_id=7639][/at] You can consider the TNAS model with CPU J3355/J3455. If the system configuration on the hard drive is still normal, you can directly start the TNAS and continue using it. If you cannot start it normally, you need...

Some structure / order for the download page
It's not a feature request for a device as such, but this section is best suited for it, I think. Your download page could do with some structure / re-ordering. Currently it looks cumbersome. Suggestion: Group it by application type, then order the items by version within each group TNAS PC App TNAS...

Re: How to fix a faulty USB initBoot for your TNAS?(x.86)
Thanks for the explanation @Gremlin @TMqiky and @TMzethar My device doesn't beep, also after doing what this post suggests for such a case: If not, please take out the battery of the device, connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery holder with iron wire for 10 seconds, then assembl...

Re: How to fix a faulty USB initBoot for your TNAS?(x.86)
Thank you for your reply. As for my first question: it's still not really clear to me and it sounds irritating, but ok, maybe it's just me. I don't think it applies to my case, so nevermind. As for my second question: I wanted to know, if the device is supposed to beep only if HDDs are installed, or...

Re: How to fix a faulty USB initBoot for your TNAS?(x.86)
Greetings, what is meant by this part of the initial post: [...] Solution 1 : If you have a spare drive that contains a TOS system and can boot normally: 1. Plug in the drive to your TNAS, and boot the system. [...] I mean we are in a thread about a faulty initBoot, but you ask if there is "a s...
