Dear support,
i just bought 2 new fans noctua 80x80x25 to replace the default one on a nas F4-421 but the existing fans have a different connector then the standard connector used by a pc 4pwm. It is smaller, do you have a code or a model number for that connector you use ?

I confirm, the upgrade from 5.37 to 5.40 is fixing the automatic fan issue also if it is not mentioned in the release note.
Upgrade was fine with a F4-421 with 4x4tb ironwolf in Traid (8gb system partition).
SMB is working as expected for me, i do not use encrypted share folders.

I did a restart of the system and now seems ok......................

It started but i cannot edit the volume pool to add the last disk.
Any tips ??

After all the procedures, and after i added all the drives to the storage pool, and the capacity to the volume (4x4tb), i shut down the nas (using the shut down button in the UI) to position it in the correct place. When i turned it on again, now it is stuck on "Loading ... please wait" Am...

last question, can i copy files in the volume while it is syncronizing ?

Adding another info. The old nas and new f4-421 have the same data. I copied everything from the old one to the new one but i want to move from the old nas, the old disks to add those in new F4-421 to create the 3+1 config (the 4 disks are all ironwolf 4tb, same model). I'm expecting to lose the dat...
