Re: S.M.A.R.T. is currently unavailable for this drive
I have a similar situation where one drive will abort the self test (long or short) but tests fine outside the enclosure (in a USB sled attached to a PC).

Re: TOS 6.0.650 (X86) is Released for Update
I've noticed replacements for failed drives are not marked as system drives as the originals are. The partition tables look correct, but I assume the system files are not being restored on these replacement drives when the raid resyncs on the new disk.

Re: TOS 6.0.610 (X86) is Released for Update
Yes, but every other system I run with a UPS allows powerup as soon as mains power is restored, I don't have to wait for the battery to charge.

Re: TOS 6.0.610 (X86) is Released for Update
I've noticed that after a power outage running TOS 6.0.610, the system will shut down due to low battery even though the system is on mains power again until the battery charges to a certain level. I had to unplug the UPS until the battery was charged to get it to stay up.

Volume no longer mounting
I have 3 volumes set up but only 2 are currently mounting on boot. The missing volume shares the same array with one of the Volumes that mounts correctly (TOS_VOL_20230424). How do I get the volume to mount on boot again? # btrfs filesystem show Label: 'TOS_VOL_20230424' uuid: bd6bd98d-a7f7-45da-8b5...

SMB service hangs for Linux clients
I have several Linux clients that hang accessing the SMB shares under medium load with the error below. The shares are automounted on the client side in fstab. The client and NAS are hosted on the same switch with a bonded connection configured on both ends, and there are no network drops for other ...

Re: TOS 5.1.34 (X86) is Released for update
One year after release TOS5 still can't be considered production ready. Poor installation and setup experience, basic operating functionality and configuration is poor or unreliable, and performance and stability does not meet minimum standards. TM really needs to focus on software quality assurance...
