Re: 3rd party app request and work in progress
I decided to go with Tailscale in the end as I saw youd got it working and it's built off the back of Wireguard. Not as fast but should be fine for my purposes

Re: 3rd party app request and work in progress
Got there in the end! Thank you, you sent me in the right direction. It was the shared folder I was mounting the rclone directory into that needed the 'media' group permissions for Plex to see the mount. It's a little confusing as I didn't need to do that for any of the other shared folders Plex is ...

Re: 3rd party app request and work in progress
For mounts to be accessible by Plex, you have to give media group permission to acccess that mounts. For wireguard, is not possible yet (native or docker) because the kernel is missing the wireguard module Ok so just to clarify my Plex install can see all my other libraries and they work fine, just...

Re: 3rd party app request and work in progress
Annoying you can't edit posts on here! So I realised you have a working version of Rclone already which I've installed. Unfortunately I'm having issues with Plex not recognising any mounts I make with it, but I'll post those issues on the thread you set up With Wireguard I've tried several times to ...

Re: 3rd party app request and work in progress
Hey Outkastm, I've been hitting my head against a brick wall trying to get a couple of apps working via Docker and I was wondering whether you might be able to do your magic to produce TOS5 compatible versions of them The two I desperately need to get working are Rclone as I need to set up a mount a...

Is it possible to migrate from a F4-423 to an F4-424 pro
Hi folks, Just wondering if there's a relatively painless way to migrate from an F4-423 to an F4-424 pro? Would a backed up system config transfer across the machines? I'm presuming not, but it would be great if it did :D I really want to minimise the downtime for my system as I'm running multiple s...

Re: Using the D5-300 with the F4-423
Quick update I think I've discovered the problem. I had a hyper cache set up on the volume that was being backed up and when I removed it and ran the back up again it settled into a far nicer 182Mbps Before removing the cache I checked the option to not use it for prolonged data transfer had been s...

Re: TerraMaster Hyper Cache
I know it's 1 SSD per volume. But I just wanted to verify that if I have a 2TB SSD and install it, the largest cache I can create on it is 757GB. (I think.) The rest of the 1.3-1.4TB left is wasted, correct? Better to use a 1TB SSD, yes? Thanks I think the cache size is relative to the amount of RA...

Re: Using the D5-300 with the F4-423
We need time to confirm the issue you mentioned. Please wait. Any update on this @TMzethar? The raid sync completed at a Max speed of 50Mbps after about 5 days I then began a backup using the TFM tool which started quickly (around 200Mbps) but then over the space of an hour or two slowed to a stead...
