I tested the D2-310 with 2 other hard disks. I reset the drive to raid 0 and then back to raid 1 and formatted the 2 hard disks. I t does not seem to be the D2-310. So how did 2 hard disks fail on the same day? How is this possible?

Yes I did check the USB as well as power. That;s not an issue.
This is looking like a possible hardware failure and that I ya need to replace my D2-310.
What are the odds that both hard disks fail on the same day? I would think that's highly unlikely.

So are you saying this is a hardware failure of the D2-310, and that it is possible that the hard disks are ok?
It just sounds strange that 2 hard disks would fail on the same day. 1 hard disk yes, but not both.

I have had the D2-310 for 5 years on RAID 1. Now, on the same day, both drive lights show yellow (not orange). Both yellow. What are the odds that both drives have an issue?
