There are no cast iron guarantees in this respect. There is always a chance of something going wrong. That is why the computer gods invented BACKUPS. Only ignore backups if yo8u can afford to lose the data.

It seems that when I first open the control panel, go to the Pool section and first click on the (far right) MENU ICON, Data scrubbing appears, but disappears again quick as a rat up a drain pipe. You are doing nothing wrong. The system partition is default on all drives, even in TOS6Beta. There is no 'installation' package for TOS6 and no forecast for such delivery. If your D5 is attached to Windows(n) Machine, (I may have misunderstood that), Have you considered 3rd party disk tools.
