Re: TNAS F4-421 Shutting Down Unexpectedly

You will quickly realise that the power cord HAS to be removed to dismantle casing - however if, like me, you want to check stuff without continually rebuilding the case, you MIGHT connect power cord to bare chassis. Anyway, it's only 12 volts ........... You won't find me on any social media ...

(I have no complaint since this was purchased 2nd hand). Additionally (after removing power cord  ), remove battery (while you are i...

Re: Boot from external USB without removing internal USB TOS drive

Some TNAS bios systems will allow modifying boot order. Others don't. There is a thread somewhere on here showing how to modify certain bios systems to allow changing boot order (new bios file). Some users are just stuck with what they have as it seems alternative bios files are not available.

Re: New Shared Folders don't show on networked MACs

Sounds like it is a permissions issue. Different users on other computers not having permissions on NAS? Network machines being blocked by file transfer permissions on NAS?

Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing

Apologies, but I didn't found any other thread related to the TOS 6 Beta. The integrated email is not working for me, and it looks it is due a certificate issue. The whole Notifications system appears to have a problem. Even using the simplified built-in email client is having problems. I thought t...
