Re: How to choose the appropriate one from various backup tools provided by TerraMaster?

Does mean you will have to maintain the content but it will provide a reference source for the furure and...

Re: How to choose the appropriate one from various backup tools provided by TerraMaster?
Would it not be appropriate to indicate which of the backup utilities are still BETA versions?

Re: TOS should prompt for Language and Time Zone upon initalisation
I am running Firefox 124.02 and have similar Use your operating system settings for “English (GB)” to format dates, times, numbers, and measurements. There is no specific time-zone option as suggested. I also use Chrome and recently DuckDuckGo browsers all of which appear to use system values (Windo...

Re: TOS should prompt for Language and Time Zone upon initalisation
The TOS UI language and time zone will auto-set during the installation, Except it doesn't (or didn't). In every instance of new installation (and I have done a few), the time zone defaults to China and has to be set manually for local environment. Of course, this might not be noticed if all your t...

Re: TOS 5.1.123 (X86) is Released for Update
Upgrading from an old model of TOS4 to TOS5 is not easy, and only a portion of users wish to upgrade to TOS5, while the latest installation package cannot be directly used by the old model. Therefore, we cannot place installation packages under this model in the download center that most devices ca...

If it comes to that, the installation package should recognise your geo-location and install appropriately. But, if you are using VPN to hide your location, that's not their problem. Neither is the fact you might not be a native speaker for that location. Life's a **tch.

Re: Not available outside your network, advice
That (sort of) makes sense to me. I can't get 3 in my area. A lot of the providers of cellular based broadband seem to use 3 network as carrier.

Re: CGnat and the pitfalls Anyone suggest a good UK VPN?
About 4 weeks now and the line has been up without any interruptions or failures. Seems pretty obvious (if only to me) that there was an issue with the modem or the Linksys router that I switched back in to the system after about 10 days. Now I still have to sort out the resulting rat's nest of cabl...
