Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
You are doing nothing wrong. The system partition is default on all drives, even in TOS6Beta. There is no 'installation' package for TOS6 and no forecast for such delivery. AS for the promised ability to define a specific system disk, I'll believe it when I see it. (Also, please note if you define ...

Re: Inquiry on RAID 1 Recovery on Terramaster D5 Hybrid
If your D5 is attached to Windows(n) Machine, (I may have misunderstood that), Have you considered 3rd party disk tools. I use MiniTool Partition Wizard, but I have not tried that with any raid connected devices. I do use a built-in caddy on my windows10 machine (cheapish) so I can unplug any drive ...

Re: Trying to remote mount SMB folder
Frankly speaking, we have not conducted any tests to mount a Windows directory to a TNAS. We can arrange a time to verify this, but what I need to discuss with you is, since it's simpler to mount a TNAS directory to Windows, why would you want to do it the other way around? What is the significance...

Re: UPS losing connection to TOS

Re: Trying to remote mount SMB folder
Sorry, maybe I didn't understand you correctly. Do you want to know how to mount a Windows/Mac folder to TNAS via SMB? What are the benefits of doing so? Why not mount the TNAS folder to Windows/Mac? By the way, the original poster's problem should not be the problem of enabling the mount after cre...
