When I installed my new TerraMaster D2-310 with 2 news harddrive, the system (OSX) prompt-me to format them. So I choose Mac OS Extended and I format them. No, it's a simple Drive enclosure for reading hard drive. I thought it will work.

Helloo TMSupport, Yes off-course I use a separate hard drive enclosure + USB cable. And with my iMac I can't acces the file. It's says to me to initialise the drive. I tried both of them. Not working. And when I put them back on the Terramaster enclosure every thing is working fine. It's just a test...

Accessing the hardrive without the enclosure TerraMaster
Hello, I have a TerraMaster D2-310 in RAID 1. I tried to take out one hardrive from the TerraMaster enclosure and to reed it directly with my computer (Apple iMac) and I can't access the hardrive. Why ? How can I read it in case a failure from the TerrasMaster enclosure for example ? Best regards, Ben
