Re: Advanced technical queries
Hi TMzethar, Thanks for your reply. The HTTPS remote access to the TOS webpage of TNAS.online can provide an on/off button. This is possible for admin accounts, but I was hoping for custom user groups to be allowed or denied the ability to reboot the TNAS. It is also possible to remotely access thro...

Re: TOS5 - Use of multiple IP Address
I’m not sure why you would want this. Why not bundle the ports if they are on the same network and have an 11Gb link?
If they’re going to different networks than it would be worth having different network IP addresses. But if it’s the same then eh, bundle is your friend

SOLUTION: VLAN support for networking on NAS
Hi, So I've found the issue. Turns out it wasn't the NAS or the server causing the problem, my router was sending the traffic out to the internet and looping back in to get to its destination. I don't know how this worked but it did. I set my router to statically route to a blackhole IP address so t...

Re: VLAN support for networking on NAS
Hi, I'm afraid this did not work, all traffic is passing over the 1Gb link and not the 10Gb link, it's almost like the NAS has made the 10Gb link redundant unless needed, once the 1Gb cable is removed, all traffic is forced to go over the 10Gb link, however as it's P2P, internet connection on the NA...

VLAN support for networking on NAS
Hello, I have a TNAS F2-422 and I've come across some odd behaviour. I have the following setup: NAS 1Gb connection to my main router (192.168.1.91 /24) 10Gb connection (P2P) to my main server (10.1.0.5 /30) Server 1Gb connection to network (192.168.2.91 /24) 10Gb connection (P2P) to my NAS (10.1.0....

Re: Plex fails to start?
Alright, for those who are still experiencing issues like me. Situation: Power cut, UPS kicked in, NAS went into safe mode. Once power restored, NAS failed to boot. Re-installed OS, data was available but no apps were listed. Everything reinstalled but Plex wouldn't appear on the desktop and failed ...
