Re: TOS 5.1.123 (X86) is Released for Update
@bbezanson, I was always having issues with SMB from day one using v4.2 (shipped with) and much of v5.1 until I did a NEW install (which you said you also did), and this fixed the Root partition size which I believe was the main issue I was facing with VERY slow SMB. I have not had any issues with a...

Re: TOS 5.1.123 (X86) is Released for Update
Upgrade from .103 to .123 went smoothly and over quick. Did a reindex after the upgrade and it seemed to go a bit quicker then previous versions. All seems to be functional for my use case.

Re: TOS 5.1.79 (X86) is Released for Update
Just to let others know. I did a manual (power button) and wait for a clean shutdown. After that, I did a restart with the power button, and all is good again.

Re: TOS 5.1.79 (X86) is Released for Update
I performed the upgrade on a F4-423 previously running TOS 5.1.67 and it appears to have gone smoothly. However, when I attempt to login via the GUI, after waiting for it to appear, I can enter my name and password and I get the spinning icon as if it is trying to login. After a minute or so doing t...

Re: TOS 5.1.41 (X86) is Released for Update
My migration from v5.1.41 from 5.1.40 went without a hitch. The performance and system appears to be stable and as expected. Prior to doing a full rebuild of the system from the New Build imaged (not the upgrade ones), the system has been working flawlessly and SMB performance is where I would have ...

Re: TOS 5.1.37 (X86) is Released for update
Like a few others here in this forum, I can say that I was having a hard time with the Terramaster product from day one. I purchased a F4-423 which shipped with some flavor of TOS 4.2 just a TOS 5.0 was released and ready for use. I did the upgrade to the latest before getting my data and drives set...

Mac SMB Speeds Ultra Slow, other protocols seem ok
I have a F4-423 on TOS 5.1.34 and only have SSH, SFTP, and SMB (Samba) enabled; no AFP. The NAS is in an environment only running Apple Macintosh devices on ether MacOS Monterey or Ventura (recent OS releases). Sending files over SFTP and even SSH , the system appears to be peppy and can keep up wit...

Re: Bonding Two Ethernet Ports Reporting 1gbps
@Gremlin, I have moved my DHCP IP pool up a bit and set the interfaces on the NAS to manual configuration. It seems to be working as expected and I'm seeing much better throughput with SSH, SFTP, but struggling with SMB and Mac computers. So, the bond us function, on to other issues to resolve. Tahn...

Re: Bonding Two Ethernet Ports Reporting 1gbps
@Gremlin, I think I found the issue. It appears that there are three IPs assigned 101, 102, and 11 (for the bond). However it seems Eth1 and the Bond share the same MAC address. I was hoping to assign a MAC to my router to had out a static IP based on MAC but this may cause an issue as both have the...

Re: Bonding Two Ethernet Ports Reporting 1gbps
@Gremlin, thanks again for the ideas. I have one more question regarding your setup. Do you have three total IP address when the bond process is complete (Eth1/Eth2/Bond)? Or when you created your bond, did you assign one of the IPs from the two physical interfaces to the bond? The only documentatio...
