Re: USB drive full error?

TMSupport wrote: 01 Aug 2022, 16:25 Have you set up a multi-version backup, and backed up more than once?
You can view the capacity of the folder in the properties of the file manager.
No it's a mirror backup. The combined data in both folders is about 171GB, which should easily fit on the 256GB drive.

Re: USB drive full error?

You can plug the USB to your computer to verify if it is full or not. Yeah, I've done that and I can verify it's full (0% free space) but there is only ~111GB data stored on it. I started with an empty drive, I plugged it into the NAS and ran two tasks as in the original post, and I got the 'partia...

USB drive full error?

Hi, I have two tasks running on USB Copy, both mirroring folders onto the destination drive. One of them is about 1GB in size and the other is 170GB. This data is being backed up onto a 256GB drive. However, I get the status 'partially completed' and when I check the drive capacity it's showing as f...

How do I mount USB drive?

Hi,

I have an exFAT formatted USB drive plugged into my NAS but in Control Panel > Storage Manager > External Storage it says 'exFAT/unmounted'.

How do I mount the drive? The button that should do this is greyed out (not selectable)

Thanks

Joe

Cloudsync doesn't sync?

Am I missing something? I have just bought my F2-423, and managed to install Cloudsync (after the download stalled many, many times). Anyway - I have set up the connection to both my OneDrive and Google Drive. These both report as successful connections. I have setup two tasks, one for the Google Dr...

Re: F2-423: Applications Center won't download anything

Do you have a Firewall rule blocking Internet? My TOS servers are behind a Firewall and need to temporarily grant access to TM's servers to populate and access the app store. Hi, they're allowed through the firewall, the applications are listed but it says downloading 0% and doesn't go any further.

F2-423: Applications Center won't download anything

As in the subject title, Applications Center won't download anything.

I have restarted the NAS but that didn't work.

Model number is F2-423
TOS version is 5.0.125-00162
BIOS is 5.19

Are there any logs I can post and how do I do that?

Re: Advantages to adding memory?

Thanks for the advice, just in my nature to tinker. I can't see me needing to use VMs etc, not that sort of user. Possibly Plex at some point depending on how the family end up using it. I ran Twonky on my old QNAP which enabled the smart TV to stream from the NAS just fine, so maybe Plex. Cheers!
