Editing the hosts file
Hi
I need to edit the hosts file in my TNAS F4-423 (TOS 5.0.176)
I am not strong in Linux, but I found this file and even copied it for backup
But I can't edit it, those commands that Google suggests do not work in this operating system
How can I edit the /etc/hosts file?
Thanks

Extend the power cable
Hi
I want to put the NAS on a shelf high enough off the floor
I am missing the length of the power cable (the part that goes from the unit to the NAS)
Is there an adapter to increase the length of the cable?
In the photo in the attachment, I showed which part needs to be increased

Re: F4-423. Installing TOS on M.2 NVMe SSD (instead of cache)
Sorry it was my mistake I bought M2 SSD SATA modules, not NVME PCIe When I installed M2 NVME PCIe modules, the system identified them and allowed TOS to be installed on them I have one more question After installing TOS on M2 NVME disks, the system offers to create a data volume from them Does this ...

Re: F4-423. Installing TOS on M.2 NVMe SSD (instead of cache)
Hi Is there an instruction to install TOS on M2 SSD? I installed two M2 SSDs in the NAS, and did not install the HDD I turned on the NAS, went to tnas.local, and it writes to me that there are no disks installed in the system and does not allow me to continue. Okay, I added one HDD, switched back to...
