It has not fixed it for me. I've followed all the steps in the thread. Permissions are right, Plex is in the video group, etc. Even installed the beta version referenced above. Still no hardware transcoding. Any other suggestions?

This sounds similar to behavior I'm seeing. It's like the system root that was on Volume 1 is now looking at the Volume 2, and created empty folders on the second volume. All my data is still on Volume 1, but the home directory of my user and my samba shares started pointing to the other volume. But...

Directories changed volumes after expanding RAID5
Hoping someone can help me. I have an F5-221 with an SSD as a standalone drive and 4 drives in a RAID5 configuration. I recently upgraded all of the drives and expanded the storage pool.
