Re: Stronger, Newer, and More Exceptional! TerraMaster's 423 Series Welcomes a Brand-new Upgrade

- At least 2 or 3 slots of M.2 NVMe slots Terra-Master would need to choose an inexpensive CPU/SoC with far more PCIe lanes than the 9 on the i3-N305 used in the current 424 Pro to both support more NVMe slots than the existing 2, along with more bandwidth to them as currently it's just ×1 per slot...

Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing

Since an end of life/depreciation statement regarding the 220 & 420 series devices was made earlier in this thread, did ask for a similar statement about the 210 series devices, however it's not officially depreciated yet per this post . The 210 series currently remains on Linux LTS kernel 4.14...

What version, if any, of smartctl (smartmontools) is included with current builds of TOS?

Newer versions of that Linux utility do support reading SMART from NVMe.

64 MB and larger (the image is only ~43 MB).

But realistically, the price of USB drives is so low that getting a 1 GB or larger makes more sense.
