Re: Trying to revive a TNAS F2-210 drive
It was on a version of TOS 3. I was able to do a new installation of TOS 4.2.17 (specifically, 4.2.17-2110301149). With this version, I cannot get applications to install onto the device. Will this product (TNAS F2-220) work if I do a new installation of TOS 5.1.24? That seems to be the latest versi...

Re: Trying to revive a TNAS F2-210 drive
Sorry - I thought my drive was F2-210, but it is actually F2-220. Is TOS 5.0.176 the latest version compatible with TNAS F2-220?

Re: Trying to revive a TNAS F2-210 drive
I followed that "method 2" suggestion. It starts the initialization fine, but when it's doing the installation, it gets partway through before I get this error: "Installing has TOS failed! Please restart TNAS and try again". I tried installation packages for version 5.0.127 and v...

Trying to revive a TNAS F2-210 drive
I have a TNAS F2-210 drive that is at least six years old, and it hasn't been actively used in over two years. I have login credentials for one user on the drive, but this user account doesn't appear to have admin privileges (there is no Control Panel in the TNAS PC interface). I no longer know what...

Re: Want to update an outdated TOS system (4.1.27 or earlier)?
I already saw this article. My question is more basic: 1. Are manual updates (using the version files that are listed in the forum thread) installed with the TNAS device Control Panel? 2. my device does not show a Control Panel. The web interface, which I can get to with a browser, using my NAS IP a...

In other words, TNAS PC is not working on my network - the desktop application does not find the device. In that interface, I don't see a Control ...

Re: NAS cannot be found on network
I went through the list of items and didn't find a solution. Then, I found a clue about what the IP address may be for the TNAS device, and I was able to connect to it in a browser, using the IP address, Oddly, the IP address is within the network IP range of my network (192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.254)...

Re: Want to update an outdated TOS system (4.1.27 or earlier)?
I have a very old version on my F220 - TOS 3.0.19. 1. What is the TOS upgrade path, to bring it fully up to date? Reading the posts in this thread, it seems I need to do some intermediate updates before updating to the latest version. 2. What is the update procedure? Please note that at the moment I...
