Hi, I tried just now and the issue is not present in the last version of TOS 5.
Files are no longer automatically renamed.
So, that's good!

Ok, but why TOS File Manager automatically renames all files with apostrophe?
This was declared as TOS 4 bug, but is still present in TOS 5 File Manager.
Could you gently check?
Thanks

Re: Files being renamed

Hi, I understand what do you mean about special characters in general. But the question remains about the apostrophe character, that is perfectly supported by TOS (from version 4.x) via SSH and SMB (and also FTP). So, I don't understand why via SSH and SMB I can use the apostrophe, whereas only in ...

Re: New TOS 6 File Management Experience

This issue only occurs in some TOS 4 versions of the old 210 model, and the TOS version of the x86 model does not have this issue. Of course, TOS6 also does not have this issue. Hi TMzethar, Sorry but in my previous request I'm referring to TOS 5.1.123 and TNAS Mobile 3.2.31. See also here: https:/...

Re: Files being renamed

Hi, I have a F4-423 (x86-64) with TOS 5.1.123 and have the same problem! I cannot use the apostrophe when I create\rename files and folders in TOS 5.1 and TNAS Mobile 3. And if files and folders already have this character, the TOS File Manager will remove it automatically. Below the proof of this: ...

Re: New TOS 6 File Management Experience

Hi, the file system and file manager in TOS 6 supports the apostrophe (') character? In TOS 4 and 5 all files and folders that contains apostrophe are renamed automatically, with removing of that character, and this is not pleasant behavior. Also TNAS mobile app has special characters limitations. ...

[at=outkastm post_id=28298 time=1688904632 user_id=2797][/at] Hi, from latest TOS version 5.1.123, TerraMaster maybe changed some system files and now SurveillanceMotion won't start anymore. Re: TOS 5.1.123 (X86) is Released for Update

Hi, I changed manually the path, replacing "Volume1" with "mnt" and it works.
But I'd like to know if there will be further changes related to USB paths.
