Re: How to activate HTTPS web connections to NAS [SOLVED]
Just like requiring a driver's license to prevent chaos on public roads, but now I'm driving my rusty pickup in my own LAN farm - would you force yourself to carry a driver's license? Might be a decent habit, though usually as unnecessary as HTTPS certs in this digital pasture.

[Copied]How to install TrueNAS and ProxmoxVE on the F8 SSD
(Copied from TM forum_CN: https://forum.terra-master.com/cn/viewtopic.php?t=4697) I’m a big fan of NAS systems and love tinkering with them. Re: How to Flash a New USB Initboot for TOS on Windows PC?
The old TMusbflashing.exe didn't work.
I used a burning utility(Etcher) to write the image file to the tiny black disk and it worked.
I don't know if the new TMusbflashing.exe work but I'm tired of tossing it around again.

Re: Backup & Restore
Hey, this is an invisible directory. As far as I know, TOS does not have a backup copy tool that can handle it.
I think you'd be better off logging into an SSH/Telnet terminal to copy them like this
mkdir /mnt/md1/public/backup_volume_btrfs
cp -r /mnt/md0/* /mnt/md1/public/backup_volume_btrfs/

Re: TOS 5.1.40 (X86) is Released for update
Initially I installed TOS5.1.37 for my 223, the system partition is 8GB.
After updating to this version, my encrypted shared folder can no longer be opened, why?
