I finally got my drive mounted. It would only mount when connected to the USB slot closest to the fan. It would not mount at all when plugged into the outer most slot. Go figure...

I have the same model NAS and I'm having trouble getting my external USB 3.0 drive mounted. How did you get yours to mount? Did you just plug it in? Mine won't recognize. Let me know and I will experiment on how to map it. Thanks.

I reinstalled a freshly downloaded 5.1.37 at the initialization screen and all of my files were still there upon reboot. It's good. Disaster avoided.

Just tried to update my F5-221 from 5.1.33 to 5.1.37 and it's a total failure. My IP address was changed. I located it using TNAS PC and tried to login. It's now at the initialization screen.
