Reformatting a .deadbolt drive safely for reuse
I was hit with .deadbolt yesterday. Fortunately, just a month ago I upgraded my 2x4TB RAID 1 to a 2x6TB RAID 1… so I still had the old 4TB RAID drives. I popped them back in and was only a month lost. Today I updated TOS and followed all the security suggestions and I've got a working, stable system...

Re: Can't Access Web GUI
I was able to resolve the problem. I followed the instructions in this thread to reinitialize the TOS: https://forum.terra-master.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=423 Specifically: Method 2: If your TOS system encounters a malfunction and cannot work properly 1. Turn off your TNAS device; 2. Remove a...

Re: Can't Access Web GUI
This site can’t be reached 192.168.1.16 refused to connect. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED I know it's running because the PLEX server is active. I did change the port number, but I'd already been logged in earlier. This came on after a restar...

Re: Can't Access Web GUI
I'm having this problem too.
I have the F2-221 2-bay NAS
So you tell us to close all these access points and change the default ports for security, then it's just "oh well"?

Just got hit as well. Not happy.
I thought I'd disabled everything except local network access.

Re: Upgrade disk size of RAID 1 without loss?
I'd like to put an end cap on this thread since I started it. I finally did this upgrade, RAID 1 4TB --> RAID 1 6TB and had no issues whatsoever. I did a lot of research in this forum before doing it and here are some things I learned which may or may not have helped in my success. 1. Reboot your NA...

Re: Upgrade disk size of RAID 1 without loss?
Was there a final conclusion on this? I thought I read to make sure all services (like PLEX) are stopped before the upgrade.
