Re: issue with Domain/LDAP
And after adding R/W to a folder under Domain Users, hitting Apply and verifying I can access it, when I go back into the Domain Users and check the users permissions again (select the user and hit edit, then select permissions) the folder that R/W was applied to now shows up as Deny.

Re: issue with Domain/LDAP
I just realized that I have to go into Domain Users and select the user and hit Edit to give them permissions but found a bug. Domain users don't have access to the USB shared drives. I can see the drive \\nas-name\ but cannot set the read/write permissions on it so I cannot get into it. And there i...

General needs of improvement
I have TOS 4.2.13 and a F5-421 In General: Networking, there should be an option to force HTTPS only. HTTP is insecure by today's standards regardless what port you put it on. When joined to a domain the notes on this page should reflect that, so it should say http://device-name.doman and not http:/...

issue with Domain/LDAP
I have TOS 4.2.13 When I join my F5-421 to my Windows domain I noticed there are a few major issues. 1. Under the Domain/LDAP it now shows Domain User and Domain Group (it should be Groups not Group..) There are no groups appearing under Domain Group. 2. How do I add Domain Users to any of the Share...

External Storage extra options
Would be nice to see the option to allow a USB 3.0 SSD to be used for cache on the RAID since I am sure most of us would prefer to use all their RAID slots to hard drives. Being able to add external HDD's to the existing RAID is also a nice option but not necessary at lest for me. And it would be ni...

Re: LDAP / External Storage setup/usage?
So I am confused. Why when I go to format my drives using the TerraMaster it only gives me an option for EXT4, Fat32, and exFAT, why there isn't an option for for NTFS? And are you saying the LDAP feature doesn't work? So how do people configure their NAS boxes to work in Windows environments? Thanks,

LDAP / External Storage setup/usage?
I cannot seem to post in the FAQ User Guides forum so I will ask here. I am running TOS 4.2.13 and a F5-422 How do setup LDAP to work with Windows 2019 Server Active Directory? With respect to External Storage, if I plug in a 5TB USB 3.0 hard drive do I need to format it as a EXT4, fat32, or exFAT? ...

TOS: F5-421 and adding an HDD
It would be nice to see TOS not go through the entire setup process when I add a new hard drive to any Terra-Master system. There should be some kind of option in place to bypass this feature instead of having to "create a new account" then go through setting up the new drive as if the sys...
