Re: Lost PSU
Phew, I thought the higher voltage would make up for the lower amps.
When I get paid next week I will check ebay for a 12v 7.5a
thank you both so much for that info.

Lost PSU
During my move somehow the PSU to my DAS was lost.
I have found one that I hope is okay to use instead, however, I would like to check here first.
It has an output of 15v and 3amps, would this be okay to use please?
Thanks,
Simon.

Re: D5 TB3 on iMac 12,1; FW800 or TB1
Ah, I happen to have TB3 (USBC) to TB converter already.
So all I need is a TB2 cable.
Just to check, if I try this the data will be okay, if for some reason, it doesn't work?
Many thanks for the reply

Re: When will there be proper macOS support including Ventura?
I thought that the D5 TB3 was natively supported since Big Sur.
I know that I have not had to install a driver since then.

Re: Disappointed w TERRAMASTER D5 Thunderbolt 3
FWISW, I use a mixture of 4GB drives, different manufacturers, different specs and different ages - all has worked okay, just the speed hasn't been as fast as one would hope it might be; obviously, one believes, due to the smorgasbord of drives that populate it

Re: D5 TB3 on iMac 12,1; FW800 or TB1
That should be this new, older iMac, only has FW800 or TB1 style ports (and yep, I know that TB1 and TB2 use the same style cable).
thanks; couldn't find how to edit the original post.

D5 TB3 on iMac 12,1; FW800 or TB1
Hi, I'm having to using an older iMac, a 12.1 running High Sierra. The only ports I have are either a FW800 or TB1. Can I use, please, my D5 TB3 via either the the FW800 or the TB! port please? I understand that it will be slower than using the TB3 (USBC style port), I just want to check that I won'...
