After playing around with /proc/driver/rtc and /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm both in TOS and ubuntu it's clear that the RTC implementation in the BIOS is bugged. One reboot and it goes back to a weird 24h timer to wake up your machine.
I will write to support but don't have much hope.

I did. The machine just booted up on the next day. Apparently it remembers the setting only for 24h. I still don't understand if this behavior is how it's supposed to be or people see it as a "feature" because they keep their machines on 24/7 and/or don't realize it. Is there really no BIO...

Any update on this? Got the same problem with a recently bought F2-221. With nothing but the power cable connected the device boots up at 0:00 system clock time. It's definitely something in the BIOS but I can't find any switch there to disable that. Have loaded defaults and even performed a CMOS re...
