I installed both on 18.04 using apt and currently got node.js 8.x.x and npm 6.x.x, both of which I'm sure are behind. I code in React and Angular so current or latest versions would be preferred. Node.js 8.17.0 was the last 8.x.x and was released on 2019-12-17. Current is v16.x.x I also code with A...

How do I install the latest release of node.js please - I tried searching but couldn't find any details
