Awesome thanks. I think I'm going to blow up my raid when TOS6 comes out. I would to play with different configs.

Synology has their RAID type too, SHR I think it's called. They have a RAID calculator to check different configs with different RAID types. Does Terramaster have a raid calc to play with storage types and configurations?

But it will still only keep a file in there as long as before the next task? So one file could be in there for 7 days and one could be 7 minutes? That is kind of useless?

In the old TOS, when you created a share you could enable the recycle bin and have it delete the file after so much time being in the recycle bin. In TOS 5.1.40 it looks like you have to schedule it? Following an FAQ about this. TerraMaster sucks hard. I will never ever buy another product of theirs.

F5-221, got an email there was an update to it, so I ran it. I cannot access the WebUI or the shares but I can ping it.

I decided to say eff it and update to 5, which I was pushing off because you have to factory restore it. Either the factory restore or the update to 5 seems to have fixed it.
