Upgrade strategy to TOS5.1 with F2-221
Hey folks, I've postponed the upgrade process for quite a while, but want to dig in it now. I'm sitting here on TOS 5.0.x with a BTRFS Raid 1 on 2x 3TB drives, no cache or additional things. The raw data is backed up on an external usb drive. What's the easiest solution without having to reinstall e...

Re: TNAS DNS Requests
As I don't need any of the Public IP / NAT functionality, how to disable the services for any of these requests?

If you don't want to wait for a 3rd party TOS package, you can use my instructions here:

Re: Why did they stop supporting BTRFS?
Yeah, I do know that. My F2-221 is on 4.2.14-P1.10 at the moment. The question however was, if I can safely stay with BTRFS on the long run (as in: for example for TOS5 etc).

Re: Why did they stop supporting BTRFS?
[at=TMroy post_id=12882 time=1630769547 user_id=1656][/at] Is it safe for me to further use BTRFS on (x86) F2-221 or should I think about resetting the unit? I've set it up through the installer on a former version of TOS (4.0.x or was it 4.1.x already? Not sure anymore). Resetting would be my least...

Vaultwarden (Bitwarden alternative) Tutorial via Docker
Hello, I've installed Vaultwarden on my F2-221 and wanted to share the setup steps with you. Vaultwarden is an unofficial Bitwarden fork written in Rust. It's completely compatible to Bitwarden's desktop and mobile clients. If anyone is interested, you can find the tutorial here: https://blog.mukmuk...

Re: HOW TO INSTALL FREENAS
I'm tinkering with the idea of testing Freenas on my F2-221. The original post by tm221 says, that the fan has to be set to full power. As my TNAS is running at home, I don't want to have the fan running on full speed every minute. Can anyone give me an update on if the fan control is able run in au...
