Thank you for the reply. So I guess I have to return the two Terramaster units and buy an OWC which is compatible. that's a shame.

I bought a D8 and a d5 this month. they were working perfectly on my macmini (2018) However, on the new M1 macmini the D8 disks do not show up. However, the D5 disks show up. I am not using raid it's JBOD. I need to get some answers to this problem so I can either return these units or fix the issue...

I am confused why my D300c works fine with the Macmini M1, but newly purchased tb3 D8 Terramaster does not at all.
I am just using JBOD and no raid. What am i not understanding here?

soo the $700 tb3 5 bay and the $1,600 tb3 8 bay drives i bought last week that worked fine with my 2018 mac mini are not going to work with the new m1? wtf/? i am using it as JBOD and not RAID. so its the RAID. i can plug in a little drive to the extra TB on the terramasterD8 and it reads fine. but ...
