Re: inadmissible : F4-210 SMB access failed !!!!

I'm a long way from a networking geek but here is a snippet of my experience. Besides my TM, I also have a QNAP. I can set the SMB lower level and upper level on the QNAP. If I don't set the lower level to "1", my QNAP will not appear in Windows Explorer. My Terramaster also will not appea...

Re: Unable to access Map Drive

No special characters. I reset the password and that doesn't work. I created a new user with administrative rights and that doesn't work. I clicked to remember the password but it doesn't and it always goes through the login twice. These sorts of problems on basic procedures should never have made i...

Re: Finding F2-210 in Window File Explorer / Mapping

Why do you not just leave the mapping to be done in Windows rather than in the app ? Both procedures should be done in the same place by the same app. Or at least have the ability to be done in the same place by the same app. The TM logic evades me.

Re: TNAS Inialize

I had the same problem but I was able to download the firmware and install from my hard drive. But, the more I read about these problems, and there seem to be a lot that affect so many people, I think TM needs to spend way more time getting their flaky software working properly and quit using its cu...

Feedback in desktop app failed

I tried sending a message through the PC desktop app but all I get is "Submission Failed ! "

This NAS is new to me and I'm starting to feel like a Beta tester.

Re: Finding F2-210 in Window File Explorer / Mapping

I found the answer to "un-mapping" a drive. That has to be done in Windows - right click on the mapped folder and select "Disconnect". Why you map i n the TM app and Un-map is Windows is a mystery.

Unable to access Map Drive

Using the TM app, I can login and change the IP address but if I click "Map Drive", it asks for my password several times but never lets me access the screen to access the drive mapping selections. I tried a different user but that didn't work either.

Finding F2-210 in Window File Explorer / Mapping

I'm not new to NAS ( I have used Netgear and have a QNAP ), but I am new to Terramaster. I got everything installed and initialized just fine. But, the NAS does not appear in Windows Explorer on the tree on the left side like my QNAP NAS. If I select "Network" on the left, the F2-210 does ...
