Hi, Is there any reason why my home folder is not showing in AFP but shows in SMB after the latest TOS update? i'm using TOS 4.2.40. Hi],

Is there a reason why I can't create a user name plex? Is it reserved or something?

I'm trying to do this under Desktop - TOS > Control Panel > Privileges > User > Create >

I have tried names like plexi, plexa etc and it all works but why does plex not work?

Does anyone know where TOS, the operating system actually gets installed? I have the TerraMaster F5-221 NAS 5-Bay and have 4x8TB HDD and 1x500GB SSD.

The reason I ask is whether it would be worth installing TOS on the SSD rather than the HDD? And no, I'm NOT asking about SSD caching.

Thanks. I was hoping I could change it somehow since it is quite annoying for testing purposes.

When I create a new user, I have to choose a password which meets the following requirements. Password can not be less than 8 characters in length and must contain one or more following characters: 0-9, a-z and A-Z Is there a way I can change this setting? Or even remove this restriction altogether?...
